While Internet usage in India has experienced remarkable growth, the widespread adoption of eCommerce remains comparatively low. The vast majority of users have embraced the digital landscape for information, education, and communication, yet the transition to online commerce has not seen the same level of uptake. Despite the substantial increase in Internet users, a significant portion of the population in both urban and rural areas continues to exhibit limited engagement with eCommerce platforms. This unique aspect of the Indian digital landscape poses opportunities and challenges for businesses aiming to enhance eCommerce accessibility and participation across diverse demographic segments.
